This past Sunday night the city of Miami, Florida hosted the 54th super bowl at Hard Rock Stadium. Super Bowl LIV was a battle between the San Fransico 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs of the AFC were led on offense by young gun slinger and rising star Patrick mahomes, and internet sensation head coach Andy Reid. The two were in large part a reason for the chiefs success on offense this year with mahomes versatility and athleticism along with Reid’s creative and effective play calling the chiefs were a tough battle for anyone all season long.
The 49ers of the NFC on the other hand, were led by a Tom Brady prodigy who has tons of poise and is the typical Pro- Style quarterback in the NFL, Jimmy Garapolo was a constant for the niners this season as they had one of the best starts in the league thanks to his play and guidance over the offense.
Super bowl commercials ran for about 5.6 million per 30 second slot, LIV was estimated to have been viewed by over 102 million people and over 62,000 people attended the Super Bowl live. Demi Lovatto started the night off with a stellar performance of The National Anthem, followed by the first half of the game that was fairly low scoring which surprised most experts, based on the two teams track records, we expected a high scoring gun show. The back and forth first half ended with the score being all knotted up at 10.
Then Shakira and Jennifer Lopez kicked off the Super Bowl half time show and brought the house down along with the rest of the nation watching at home. This super bowl had a slight increase in viewers over the 2019 super bowl which was the lowest in the past 10 years.
the chiefs and niners were both great teams but the second half being to the chiefs who ran away with things and ended up on top and were crowned the 2020 Super Bowl LIV champions by a score of 31-20 out scoring the niners by 21 in the fourth quarter.
